Kristen Carrillo, Director of Sales & Marketing
"K2" (We had a Kristen 1 at that time...) is our new Director of Sales and Marketing. How she got this job is a good story. While looking for a new receptionist at my "day job" in Denver, I was flipping through a pile of resumes and one stood out beyond all others: Bachelor degree from University of New Mexico, President of Pi Beta Phi sorority, Masters Degree from Harvard University, and willing to take an entry level position. I quickly decided to go with the "best athlete available" who came with social skills as well - she was clearly overqualified for the front desk! Kristen was rapidly promoted to my assistant, and when the opportunity came to serve as Epoch's first Tasting Room Manager and to open our new tasting room at York Mountain, K2 volunteered to take on this huge task and moved to Paso Robles. Always up for a new challenge and eager to master the next rung on the ladder, Kristen was recently promoted to Epoch's Sales and Marketing Director.
