Welcome to Epoch!
We have created this ever evolving website so you can learn, most importantly, about our wines, but also about our philosophy, our vineyards, our terroir and our history. It is meant to be used by our Allocation list members, potential new fans, or just the curious.
Epoch, which was founded in 2004, has quickly developed a big reputation for small production, hand crafted, artisanal wines with abundant personalities. We make the wines with minimal intervention in the winery with fruit from meticulously farmed, estate owned, rocky, hillside vineyards.
Our philosophy is simple, although not necessarily easy to implement, and that is to make wines that are delicious and complex, seriously fun to drink, interestingly iconoclastic, seductively hedonistic, thought provoking and hopefully, most importantly, memory making. Wines that are among the best in the world.
Although a young label, our wines are highly sought after. They are most easily available by our rapidly growing Allocation list which you can join on this website, or by visiting our totally fun tasting room located at the beautiful and historic York Mountain Winery.
